Our Story
Forest Greens Juice Bar began as an idea for Annemarie Ranallo to provide quick and healthy snacks for her and her four children who were always running between practices and games season after season.
As an active mom with four kids constantly on the go, Annemarie found it hard to find a variety of healthy, grab and go foods that fit with her family’s busy and active lifestyle. Her goal is to offer the community the same food and drink options made with ingredients they can trust.
Forest Greens Juice Bar started as a private kitchen in 2016 that delivered to various small businesses and upon subscription. In July of 2019, our location at 123 Waukegan Road opened to the public.
Our Products
Forest Greens Juice Bar focuses on bringing healthy food and drink options that help to optimize your overall health and wellness. We do this by feeding your body with fresh, raw, and (when available) organic produce prepared in a gluten-free kitchen.
We have fresh cold-pressed juice, created straight out of our Good Nature Juice Presser, vegetable and fruit smoothies, breakfast and lunch options, and even raw desserts. We aim to provide our customers with minimal ingredients that allow you to taste the richness of the food.
Our energizing and nutrient-rich ingredients help provide that extra boost you need to get through your day.
Our Community
Forest Greens Juice Bar is a family-run and operated business with a goal to give back to the community.
We sell eggs from EGGceptional Abilities, a Knollwood-based micro-business that raises egg-laying hens under organic practices with a dedication to improving the lives of those on the autism spectrum through creative and nonconventional opportunities. At the end of the day, the extra pulp from our juices are sent as food for the hens at EGGceptional Abilities.
